Joey Goebel photoshoot was fun

"Say, Ro-Ro... don't write songs in your sleep. You should get more rest..."Up and coming writer Joey Goebel hails from Kentucky, and you can hear it in every word he says. He even started to treat my name the Kentucky way, by repeating it: "Say, Ro-Ro... don't write songs in your sleep. You should get more rest...".
So I told him I should call him Joey-Joey. Not good. It's Jo-Jo :)

All my pix of Joey you can find here.

Results of shooting interviews

Philippe ClaudelI shot pics for the interview of both Philippe Claudel and Amy Tan. I'm happier with the ones of Philippe, because I had better lighting there. I'm surprised how little people know about these writers. I thought they were quite famous, but then again my mother has them on her bookshelf. And that's what it's all about, isn't it?
The pics of Amy Tan are here, and the pics of Philippe Claudel are here.

Shooting Amy Tan

Amy Tan has published a new novel, Saving Fish from Drowning. On Wednesday, she'll be giving an interview in Amsterdam for webzine 8weekly. Since I'm now photographer for 8weekly, I'm appointed to shoot pics of her during the interview. Have I told anyone that I have no experience at all in this field? Right now I only got experience with shooting live shows... I'm so excited! I'll be posting some pics later on.

Oh, and one week later I'll be shooting Philippe Claudel. He's a succesfull French writer, who has written the bestseller Grey Souls. By then I'll be over my nerves...
